DeepSeek Harness Plugin

WSL workspaces for DeepSeek Harness. A sidebar W button lists installed distros and registers a Linux folder as a host workspace addressed by a UNC path, and the sidebar terminal opens a real Linux pty inside the distribution for WSL sessions. A persistent zero-dependency agent running in the distro answers file, shell and search requests over a JSON-lines pipe, so no polling timers touch the distribution while it is idle and /mnt drives stay reachable; grep and glob run the distro's own ripgrep. WSL preset twins such as wsl-standard swap in the WSL shell and fs tools. A rebuild of 6Mikao9/dsh-wsl-workspace — do not install both: they mount the same W entry in the Workspaces header, publish the same wsl-<mode> presets, and each wrap the host's single-slot terminal provider.

Install

# from a prebuilt release tarball

dsh plugin --profile web add "https://github.com/stallenlu/dsh-wsl-suite/releases/download/v0.1.5/dsh-wsl-suite.tgz"

# from GitHub (first run asks for allowBuilds approval — follow the hint, retry)

dsh plugin --profile web add github:stallenlu/dsh-wsl-suite

Any plugin you install runs third-party code with your own permissions — it can read your files, use your credentials, and reach the network, and tool approvals don’t sandbox it. GitHub-sourced plugins also run build scripts at install time — pnpm blocks those until you allow them, so an install can stop with ERR_PNPM_GIT_DEP_PREPARE_NOT_ALLOWED or ERR_PNPM_IGNORED_BUILDS; dsh prints the exact key to add under allowBuilds in your profile’s pnpm-workspace.yaml, and the install works on the next run. Allowing a build is a trust decision: only install sources you trust, and pin a commit (github:owner/repo#sha).
