Secret-redacted session handoff with review, auto-start, and brief-only modes.

Install

# from GitHub (first run asks for allowBuilds approval — follow the hint, retry)

dsh plugin --profile web add github:margbug01/dsh-ma-plugins#path:/dsh-handoff

Any plugin you install runs third-party code with your own permissions — it can read your files, use your credentials, and reach the network, and tool approvals don’t sandbox it. GitHub-sourced plugins also run build scripts at install time — pnpm blocks those until you allow them, so an install can stop with ERR_PNPM_GIT_DEP_PREPARE_NOT_ALLOWED or ERR_PNPM_IGNORED_BUILDS; dsh prints the exact key to add under allowBuilds in your profile’s pnpm-workspace.yaml, and the install works on the next run. Allowing a build is a trust decision: only install sources you trust, and pin a commit (github:owner/repo#sha).

README

Goal-driven context transfer for DeepSeek Harness.

/handoff <objective> # review mode: create a new session with an editable draft
/handoff --go <objective> # create the session and start it immediately
/handoff --brief <objective> # generate a brief without creating a session

The compiler inherits the effective source conversation but receives no tools. Generated text is secret-redacted before it is stored in the source result or placed in the target session. The brief records its source session, workspace, compilation path, context truncation, and redaction count.

Install

dsh plugin --profile web add link:C:/path/to/dsh-ma-plugins/dsh-handoff

The bundle patch mounts the plugin with these defaults. Override by id in ~/.dsh/profiles/web/cordis.patch.yml, restating every config key you keep:

- id: dsh-handoff
  config:
    defaultMode: review
    timeoutMs: 300000
    fallbackMaxChars: 240000
    inheritModel: true

Do not - insert this plugin again after dsh plugin add; that double-mounts it.

Review mode creates a blank target session. The Web client writes the brief into that session's editor and opens it without submitting. If target-session setup fails after creation, the host archives the incomplete session.
