WeChat Reading (WeRead) right-sidebar bookshelf and chapter reader: QR or Cookie login, store search, resume reading, and weread_shelf / weread_search / weread_book / weread_chapter agent tools.

Install

# from GitHub (first run asks for allowBuilds approval — follow the hint, retry)

dsh plugin --profile web add github:wwjzzy/dsh-weread

Any plugin you install runs third-party code with your own permissions — it can read your files, use your credentials, and reach the network, and tool approvals don’t sandbox it. GitHub-sourced plugins also run build scripts at install time — pnpm blocks those until you allow them, so an install can stop with ERR_PNPM_GIT_DEP_PREPARE_NOT_ALLOWED or ERR_PNPM_IGNORED_BUILDS; dsh prints the exact key to add under allowBuilds in your profile’s pnpm-workspace.yaml, and the install works on the next run. Allowing a build is a trust decision: only install sources you trust, and pin a commit (github:owner/repo#sha).

WeChat Reading (WeRead) right-sidebar bookshelf and chapter reader for DeepSeek Harness.

Features

  • Right-sidebar panel: bookshelf, store search, resume reading
  • Sign in with WeChat QR or by pasting a weread.qq.com Cookie
  • In-panel chapter reader (font size, TOC, keyboard / side click)
  • Demo book when signed out
  • Agent tools (registered when the names are free): weread_shelf, weread_search, weread_book, weread_chapter

If weread-export is already installed, some tool names may already be taken; this plugin still serves the sidebar UI and /api/weread.

dsh plugin --profile web add wwjzzy/dsh-weread

Or install from a local path / npm once published.

Restart Harness after install, then open the WeRead tab in the right sidebar.

Config

Optional Cordis config (also editable in the panel):

cookie: '' # weread.qq.com Cookie header; leave empty to use QR login or demo mode
