Category UI Enhancements Added 2026-10-30

Lets the model turn an answer into a web page that lives right inside the chat. The show_page tool saves a page (comparisons, checklists, calculators, quizzes, charts) and it appears under the reply at its content height, interactive and following DSH's light/dark theme. The page's localStorage is stored in DSH per page, so what users tick or type survives reopening and new versions, and the same page open in the chat and the right sidebar stays in sync. Each edit is saved as a new version you can flip back to. After saving, the page is checked in a hidden local Chrome or Edge (script errors, horizontal overflow, dark mode not applied) and problems go back to the model. The right sidebar shows the page full-size with versions, a gallery of all pages and export to PNG, PDF or HTML. Pages run in a sandboxed, separate-origin frame with a strict CSP: no access to DSH data and no fetch, XHR or WebSocket. Works on phones with dsh-mobile.

Install

# from a prebuilt release tarball

dsh plugin --profile web add "https://github.com/OrderG-X/dsh-pages/releases/latest/download/dsh-pages.tgz"

# from GitHub (first run asks for allowBuilds approval — follow the hint, retry)

dsh plugin --profile web add github:OrderG-X/dsh-pages

Any plugin you install runs third-party code with your own permissions — it can read your files, use your credentials, and reach the network, and tool approvals don’t sandbox it. GitHub-sourced plugins also run build scripts at install time — pnpm blocks those until you allow them, so an install can stop with ERR_PNPM_GIT_DEP_PREPARE_NOT_ALLOWED or ERR_PNPM_IGNORED_BUILDS; dsh prints the exact key to add under allowBuilds in your profile’s pnpm-workspace.yaml, and the install works on the next run. Allowing a build is a trust decision: only install sources you trust, and pin a commit (github:owner/repo#sha).
