Re-sorts sidebar workspaces by last activity once per day; stable order within the day.
Install
# from GitHub (first run asks for allowBuilds approval — follow the hint, retry)
dsh plugin --profile web add github:Moonshile/moonshile-dsh-plugins#path:/plugins/dsh-workspace-sort
Any plugin you install runs third-party code with your own permissions — it can read your files, use your credentials, and reach the network, and tool approvals don’t sandbox it. GitHub-sourced plugins also run build scripts at install time — pnpm blocks those until you allow them, so an install can stop with ERR_PNPM_GIT_DEP_PREPARE_NOT_ALLOWED or ERR_PNPM_IGNORED_BUILDS; dsh prints the exact key to add under allowBuilds in your profile’s pnpm-workspace.yaml, and the install works on the next run. Allowing a build is a trust decision: only install sources you trust, and pin a commit (github:owner/repo#sha).

DeepSeek Harness (DSH) plugin bundle: re-sorts the sidebar workspace order by last activity once per day; the order stays fully stable for the rest of the day.
Why
DSH's native workspace order is manual drag order (the durable workspaceIds array); the "Last updated" view option only sorts sessions inside a group. If every session event moved the owning workspace to the top, the order would jump around constantly. This plugin instead performs one full sort per calendar day: the day's first session event triggers the sort, after which nothing moves until the next day.
Install
Requires pnpm on your PATH — dsh plugin forwards profile package operations to pnpm.
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-workspace-sort
Installs the npm package dsh-workspace-sort into the web profile and activates it as a bundle (the package declares dsh.bundle.patch). One command, no manual patch editing. Restart dsh web to mount the bundle layer.
Other profiles: replace web with the profile name, e.g. dsh plugin --profile <name> add dsh-workspace-sort.
Behavior
- Trigger: the first
session/eventactivity of the calendar day (any session of a workspace produces a new event) - Ordering key: last-activity time per workspace accumulated since plugin start, full sort descending; workspaces with no recorded activity keep their relative order (stable sort)
- Stable within the day: no re-sort until the next day; manual drag order survives the rest of the day
- Persistence:
~/.dsh/workspace-sort-state.jsonrecords the last sorted date (DSH_HOMEoverrides the home directory) - Limitations: after a same-day server restart the first sort may have sparse activity data (accurate from the next day); ungrouped sessions do not participate
Development
pnpm install
pnpm test # node:test pure-function tests, no DSH runtime dependency
Publishing
cd plugins/dsh-workspace-sort
pnpm publish --access public
